From one-on-one conversations to addressing a large crowd in a public arena, communication is a part of our daily lives. Communication Studies prepares you for almost any career path you choose — from public speaking to being an effective manager capable of conveying ideas and resolving workplace conflict.
Communications Studies is a broad and flexible major, allowing you to tailor your experience to fit your professional goals — whether you are on campus or online. Our small class sizes mean our professors are able to get to know you and help you grow in your professional, personal, and civic lives.
Programs are available for all students who have a bachelor's degree. Students complete graduate courses in communication theory and research methods, and design the remainder of their program with the approval of an advisor and the Graduate Coordinator in Communication Studies.
