Capstones, Internships and Study Abroad

As part of the degree program in Film and Media Studies, students are required to complete a two-credit capstone project. This capstone project is usually conducted in the Summer, Fall or Spring semester of the student’s senior year before graduation. There are three types of capstone projects to choose from.

Film and Media Studies majors and Film Studies minors are eligible for the many internships offered by the program. Learn more about internal and external internships opportunities.

Study Abroad

Our students can take advantage of the many study abroad programs through the Kearney International Center, some of which allow students to pay the tuition rate of their home institution, thus reducing the study abroad costs. We currently have two partnerships with universities abroad.
