Geographic Information Science (GISc)
The Master of Science in Geographic Information System (GIS) integrates the geospatial technologies of geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and global positioning systems (GPS) with the professional skills of technical communications, project management, human resource management, and budgeting and economics in the workplace. These combine to create tools to implement real-world solutions to critical problems.
The program offers comprehensive courses on geographic information systems, remote sensing, GNSS, spatial analysis, geospatial modeling and simulation, geodatabase, programming, web mapping, transportation analysis, and more. The thesis, APP, and course-only provide three distinct options that allow students to complete their degrees in a flexible way.
