Law Enforcement POST (CERT)
The certificate is for students who already have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline who want to meet the education requirements to become a licensed peace officer in the State of Minnesota. The successful completion of the curriculum in the certificate, along with the successful completion of the clinical skills component, will allow students to be eligible to take the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) examination for licensing.
The Law Enforcement POST Preparation Certificate is a series of academic classes that can be completed to prepare for skills and being eligible for taking the Peace Officer Standards and Training Board licensing exam in Minnesota. In order to complete the certificate, a student must have a conferred Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
