Biography:
David L. Gadberry, Ph.D. is currently serving a dual appointment as Assistant Professor of Music Education and Music Industry and has a research focus of inclusion of students with special needs, behavior management, folk music, popular music pedagogy, and general music pedagogy. He has presented workshops and lectures on these topics at the local, regional, state, national, and international levels. Gadberry teaches courses on music theory, general music pedagogy, and music education. He is currently enrolled in the Songwriting Sequence at MN State Mankato, to foster his personal music making as well as to contribute more to the Music Industry Program. David Gadberry performs locally under the stage name Nowtro, and plays locally with another band, The Planet Masters.
