The Jazz Mavericks Big Band will perform on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023. at 3 p.m. in the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave.
The Jazz Mavericks are a large contemporary ensemble. Traditionally formed as a jazz big band, this ensemble has expanded to include multiple instruments and vocalists performing a broad range of jazz-related repertoire (jazz, rock, funk, Latin, hip-hop, etc.).
Dr. Douglas Snapp directs the Jazz Mavericks. The program will include big band arrangements and jazz versions of traditional seasonal favorites.
Minnesota State Mankato students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. General admission is $9 and $7 for students (K-12) and children.
