Performance Series Event: An Evening with Tab Benoit and Special Guest JD Simo

Tab Benoit is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from southern Louisiana known for his Delta swamp blues. His guitar playing has created comparisons to artists such as Albert King, Albert Collins, and Jimi Hendrix. His lively career has so far consisted of a Grammy nomination, five Blues Music Awards, two BB King Entertainer of the Year Awards, and a spot in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Benoit has also created an organization called Voice of the Wetlands, which is working to help preserve the coastal waters of Louisiana.
JD Simo is a songwriter, guitarist, and producer who has worked with individuals such as Jack White and Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh, to name a few. He also worked on the film score and soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic, which hit theatres in June of 2022.
