Chicago Farmer features Cody Diekhoff who grew up in a small-town farming community in Illinois. Diekoff gets some of his inspiration from his grandparents, who were farmers. Their values and work ethic have provided the baseline to much of his music. Profoundly inspired by John Prine, Diekhoff is a working-class folk musician to his core. He writes his music for “the kind of people that come to my shows.”

General admission is $10; Minnesota State Mankato students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD.
