About the speaker:

Dr. Anne Kerber is Associate Professor and Communication & Media Online Program Coordinator at Minnesota State University, Mankato. With her Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Ohio University, Dr. Kerber’s research focuses on the intersections of health and organizational communication. Her work has appeared in Journal of Applied Communication Research and Health Communication, among numerous other venues.a poster for a workshop

Workshop topics will include:

  • Using art to elicit participant responses (e.g., photo or written elicitation)
  • Gathering participant-created art (e.g., photo voice, narrative mapping)
  • Making art with participants (e.g., participatory theater)
  • Using art to represent participants' experiences (e.g., poetic transcription, installations)
