Dr. Matthew Loayza represented MSU-Mankato at ITESO, Guadalajara, Mexico.
Dr. Matt Loayza traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico from February 20-23 to represent Minnesota State Mankato at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara’s International Partnership Week.
Dr. Loayza had an opportunity to deliver a brief presentation on Minnesota State Mankato to ITESO staff and representatives of other partnering universities, and he met with various faculty and staff from ITESO to discuss future opportunities to expand our collaborations on COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) projects and other initiatives related to the internationalization of the curriculum.
He also had an opportunity to meet his colleague, Professor Enrique Aguirre Torres, with whom Dr. Loayza plans to co-teach this spring as part of ITESO’s Summer International Program.
