School Psychology Program Receives Grant to Support Trainings of Future School Staff
The School Psychology Doctoral Program received a $384,000 grant to support their work training future school psychologists! The grant, awarded by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), aims to grow the number of student support personnel (such as school psychologists, school social workers, and school counselors) in Minnesota.
The grant has a particular emphasis on supporting those who are People of Color and/or Indigenous in becoming student support personnel. The program looks forward to the opportunity to use these resources to support the students and expand the program’s capacity to train future school psychologists who are prepared to support students in Minnesota schools.
