Students in Film and Media Studies look at all aspects of film and media, including aesthetic, creative, critical, cultural, technical, and theoretical perspectives.

Potential Career Opportunities

Film and Media Studies students learn skills in the making of audio-visual productions and also graduate with knowledge in writing about, researching, and analyzing many different kinds of media.  As a result, students are prepared for careers as communicators, innovative creators of film and other forms of media, and they become competent professionals in fields such as news, public relations, production, and other media-related fields.  The degree also prepares students for graduate work in Film and Media Studies.
