Biography
Mikayla Davis is an Assistant Professor of University Writing and Technical Communication within the English department. Her research interests include play pedagogy, creative writing, gaming, and active learning. Through her research she seeks ways to engage students and explore how technology can be used and combined with the physical to improve student learning. She has a special interest in helping students find their own voices in their writing while still meeting the needs of different genres and expectations. She loves to dabble in different subjects and learn about a multitude of different topics.
