Biography:
Dr. Nord joined the faculty at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1989 and has taught in the composition and in the technical communication programs. He completed two faculty internships as a documentation specialist with local software firms. His primary teaching responsibilities have included the Editing Technical Publications (Eng 4/575), Desktop Publishing (Eng 4/573), Usability (Eng 4/566), and UX (Eng 681) courses. Recently, he has taught the Technical and Scientific Prose (Eng 678) and Topics in Tech Comm: Risk Communication (Eng 674) courses.
