Ethnic Studies Department Scholarship
Scholarships were established to encourage enrollment in the Minnesota State University, Mankato Ethnic Studies curriculum beyond the introductory level. Students must have taken the Ethnic Studies course American Racial Minorities or Introduction to Ethnic Studies. The applicant will agree to have completed and additional six Ethnic Studies credits at the completion of the award year.
Timothy Price Scholarship - will be awarded to two Ethnic Studies students (major, minor or graduate) with $750 each. This student must demonstrate outstanding academic, community services and leadership.
Available funds will be distributed in two equal installments at the beginning of each semester through Financial Aid and will appear as a credit of your fee statement.
Application deadline is around March every year. You must include a current unofficial transcript.
We expect that students will attend the Social and Behavioral Sciences Scholarship dinner in April.
