Kyle Mullen, Adjunct Instructor

Professor Kyle Mullen teaches GEOG 409/509: Mapping with UAV. This is a 2-credit, 8-week course that introduces students to the fundamentals of Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) and use of sUAS to acquire high-resolution geospatial data. Focus is placed on sUAS platforms and components needed for data collection, regulations and flight operations, best practices for UAS mapping, image processing and processing software, and geospatial applications of UAS mapping data.

Professor Mullen is employed by Bolton & Menk as a UAV & Remote Sensing Project Manager.
