Other Programs offered by the Department of Gender and Women Studies
Gender and Women's Studies at MSU draws its curriculum from a long history of feminist study in interdisciplinary settings, commitment to both activism and scholarship in and beyond the classroom and solidifying strong relationships across communities and other academic disciplines.
Our Departments offer special topics courses that will count as electives.
The Department of Gender and Women’s Studies Combined Program allows undergraduate students an opportunity to enroll in undergraduate/graduate split-level courses and receive graduate credit.
Graduate students in Gender and Women’s Studies must complete one of the thesis or alternate paper plan capstone requirements for the completion of their master’s program.
