The NPL Program prepares students for careers and service in the ever-growing nonprofit sector. This interdisciplinary program can be completed online, and students on or near campus can select from a greater number of courses that are part of the program. Students develop a foundational understanding of nonprofit management and leadership, competencies in the areas of program planning and evaluation, program administration, and financial management and development, and they also gain applied experience. Nonprofit Leadership programs offer a variety of learning opportunities to prepare students to excel in and out of the classroom.
Advising is a key part of student success. The director of the Nonprofit Leadership program advises on courses and internships for the certificate and minor. The Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) Advising Center is the central resource regarding academic concerns, academic policies and procedures, general education, and referrals to other resources on campus.
