Active Involvement in the Profession
Students and faculty are involved in a range of professional activities including conference attendance, regional trainings, and professional associations. Our students regularly attend the annual conference for Minnesota School Psychologists Association and the annual convention for the National Association of School Psychologists. This often involves presenting research findings as posters or oral sessions. Students are also involved in the School Psychology Society, which engages in a wide range of activities to support the profession and the community. Faculty are involved in a range of professional activities off campus including K-12 staff development trainings, supervising implementation of reading and behavior services in schools, and service on state-level committees.
