Scandinavian Studies Program Study Abroad Opportunities

We have exchange agreements with a number of institutions in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Students may study abroad for a semester or academic year. Summer opportunities in Sweden and Norway are also available. Credits earned at these institutions may count towards the Scandinavian Studies major or minor.

We have exchange agreements with the Høgskolen i Telemark (Telemark University College) in Norway, Umeå University in Sweden, and Högskolan i Halmstad (Halmstad University College) in Sweden.

Students majoring in social work may study in Finland at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. There are also summer programs available at the Oslo International Summer School and Sommerkurs i Bergen (Summer Course in Bergen), and Uppsala International Summer Session.
