Class of 2018

" I am grateful for the individual attention, research opportunities, challenge, and encouragement I received from my art history professors at MNSU. The Art Department and its remarkable faculty exposed me to concepts, theories, and ideas that extended beyond the typical Western art canon, allowing me to delve deep into subjects historically overlooked by scholars and institutions. Art of the Islamic World, the Harlem Renaissance, Gender in Art, and Asian Art – each of these classes represented the passion and research focus of my professors and inspired the graduate-level Art History research that I am pursuing today as a graduate student at the City University of New York."
