WHY JOIN?
By joining the Machine you will be joining the largest student organization on the campus of Minnesota State Mankato. You will have the opportunity to perform for thousands of Maverick fans in one of the most unique collegiate marching ensembles in the upper Midwest. You also get into the Intercollegiate Athletic events for FREE and have the opportunity to travel with our teams.
The most important reason is that you will instantly become a part of the #MavFam, creating life-long friendships as a part of the Maverick Machine family - GO MAVS!
MEMBERSHIP / AUDITIONS:
The Machine is open to any musician or colorguard member who has prior experience in the marching arts, regardless of major. It is our goal to include anyone and everyone that has an interest in marching in the band. The Percussion and Colorguard sections are limited in numbers so we have a process at the beginning of band camp to find the right fit for each individual student but we will not turn anyone away from the Machine!
