Applied Experience
Students do a lot more than just attend class and take tests at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The curriculum focuses on getting real-world experience, which is obtained heavily through our in-house consulting business, the Organizational Effectiveness Research Group. Students work on consulting projects that emphasize fast, data-driven, and customized solutions.
Serving as an Associate Consultant for the Organizational Effectiveness Research Group (OERG) has had a profound impact on preparing me for my career. Consulting involves high levels of responsibility, creativity, and critical thinking and the OERG put me on a fast-track to developing these skills. That experience has proven to be fundamental to becoming a high-performer and adding value in my role at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of IL.
